Your Opportunity
The AMC Regional Sales Manager – Alabama and Northern Florida will sell EBSCO Information Services products to primarily Academic Institutions, Medical Libraries, Corporate Libraries and professionals responsible for knowledge management in the states of Alabama and Northern Florida. Additional accounts may be added or deleted as deemed necessary for EBSCO Information Services.
This position manages all of our product lines and categories including Full Text Databases on EBSCOhost™ and Software as a Service Solutions – supporting researchers, librarians and more.
This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories)
What You’ll Do
- Retention of existing revenue as well as the development of new opportunities in order to achieve an established sales growth and renewal quota each fiscal year.
- Work in conjunction with the VP of Sales, Director of AMC Sales and Account Executive for the region
- Provide formal pricing proposals, appropriate literature, and coordinate trials with Account Executive as appropriate.
- Prepare and deliver presentations driven by the solution sales process.
- Travel: (70%); including in-person meetings with customers and prospects, attendance of conferences and sales meetings.
- Achieve an expert level of knowledge of EBSCO products and competition.
- Provide input from the market for product development and marketing purposes.
- Develop sales strategy for your region for overall sales of EBSCO products and report weekly progress towards sales quota and goals to the VP of Sales.
- Average 25 face-to-face visits per month with prospects as well as existing clients.
Your Team
You will be welcomed as a member of the Academic/Medical/Corporate Sales team, a team of about 60 people as well as members of the Sales and Marketing teams. About You
- 7+ years of sales experience selling in the Academic field is preferred.
- Experience with SaaS and Information Service sales a plus
- Previous travel experience and ability to travel 70%
- Must live in the territory

Our Offer to You
Target Annual Compensation Range: $109,200 - $156,000
This Pay Target range includes a typical sales commission. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location.
