Overview:
As a Regional Representative for MarcoPolo Learning, you will leverage your extensive background and network in the early learning space to promote awareness of MarcoPolo's products and services with school districts, Head Start programs, private childcare providers and influencers in your region.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize your existing network, attend events, and employ various outreach methods to connect with school districts and early childhood centers about our product.
- Leverage your existing school district and early childhood contacts to introduce them to MarcoPolo Learning’s products and services.
- Develop our brand in your local market and community through social media, email marketing and events.
- Conduct online presentations, demos, and face-to-face meetings with school districts, with the support of our Learning’s team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to effectively position our offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using our CRM software.
- Provide regular feedback to our management team on market conditions, customer feedback, and product improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- You have experience teaching preschool or kindergarten at a school district or state-funded early childhood center.
- You have experience working for a school district as a former instructional coordinator, education administrator, curriculum coordinator, program specialist or similar.
- You have established great relationships and a solid network within your school district.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients and partners.
- Experience with public speaking in front of a large audience.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
- Passion for early childhood education and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the sector.
- Prior business development and sales experience is not a requirement.
Salary: Total compensation of $125,000-$150,000 plus stock options and full benefits
