Our product teams work to meet the needs of educators and students, collaborating closely to find solutions that are valuable to our customers and viable to implement. As Senior Product Manager, K12 Curriculum and Content Strategy, you will:
Develop a content strategy that supports the K12 Product Strategy, prioritizing the meaningful development, display and utilization of content across the In Context portfolio, taking into consideration both curriculum and library content needs.
Lead the SME team in the development of more curriculum-oriented content in direct support of daily classroom use case scenarios.
Develop overarching content development and acquisition guidelines with an eye toward managing curation and appropriateness as well as addressing ad hoc market opportunities and challenges.
This position reports to the VP of product, and partners closely with the Sr. Product Manager, K12 Product Strategy to deliver an integrated product solution that supports our customers in both K12 curriculum and library markets. By developing hypotheses, analyzing market trends, and testing ideas in the market – you will build a strategy that will ensure content aligns to end user needs. In Context is a product line with over 10 million pieces of discrete content sourced from a variety of providers. In your role, you will apply product analytics and data to improve the instructional impact of this content. As a high-visibility member of the team, you will influence both software and content teams in the execution of the overall vision.

What you'll do here:
Be responsible for the high-level content strategy for the In Context suite of products
Lead a team of subject matter authorities and integrate product specific roadmaps into a unified plan to serve K12 classroom needs
Work across teams, including product strategy, software development, content development, content engineering, marketing, and sales to set and implement the content strategy
Conduct market research and bring the voice of the customer to cross-functional teams
Use product analytics to advise strategy and improve organizational understanding of content usage and curriculum coverage
Partner with the Sr. Product Manager, K12 Product Strategy to support a platform strategy that prioritizes the substantial development, display and utilization of content
Skills you will need here:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
4+ years of experience working on technology-powered solutions, either as a product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher
Background in K-12 education and expertise in curriculum development
Strong data analytics skills and a validated ability to contextualize large data sets and problems
Demonstrated ability to solve difficult problems with multiple constraints
Exceptional ability to present evidence-based proposals, including in written narrative form
Demonstrated curiosity and ability to pick up cross functional knowledge (engineering, design, marketing, sales, finance)
Even better if you have:
Experience with Google Analytics, SQL and/or Microsoft Access
Experience with search optimization, including indexing
Experience in curriculum development at scale (I.e., at the school, district, or product level)
Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
