About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Freelance Project Manager to spearhead the planning and execution of a critical upcoming product launch meeting. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise in pharmaceutical product launches and make a significant impact on a high-profile project. You will be the driving force behind the successful planning and execution of a pivotal product launch meeting. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing external vendors, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the entire process.
SweetRush is a remote organization and as such all resources must: be technically savvy, have access to a strong internet signal, be comfortable with virtual/instant messaging and conferencing tools, and be generally available during established working hours.
Hourly Rate: $65/hour
Timeline:9 months (starting ASAP)
Hours: 10-20 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Planning:
- Develop comprehensive and detailed project plans for the launch meeting, encompassing all aspects from pre-event logistics to post-event follow-up.
- Meticulously track progress against the plan, proactively identifying potential roadblocks and developing contingency plans.
- Manage and optimize the project budget.
- Coordination & Collaboration:
- Act as the central point of contact, coordinating with internal commercial and non-commercial teams, including marketing, sales, medical affairs, and executive leadership.
- Effectively manage relationships with external vendors, including meeting planning and production companies.
- Work closely with launch meeting leads to align priorities and manage calendars across different organizational levels.
- Organize and facilitate recurring launch team meetings (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) to ensure alignment and progress.
- Communication:
- Maintain open and transparent communication channels with all stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on launch meeting plans, progress, and any changes to functional departments and executive leadership.
- Deliver clear and concise presentations to various audiences.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple pharmaceutical product launch meetings.
- Exceptional project management skills with a strong emphasis on planning, execution, and risk management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communication styles to different audiences.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
- Strong decision-making, interpersonal, and meeting facilitation skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- 5+ years of demonstrable experience as a lead project manager for pharmaceutical product launch meetings.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
