WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Sr Business Intelligence Analyst role plays an integral part in understanding metrics about our customers, products, and technological capabilities. In this role you will need to have a business-oriented mindset combined with robust experience and technical know-how to conceptualize, build, and deploy full-scale products and solutions. This role acts independently and requires ability to make decisions while considering deliverables, time constraints, accuracy, and best practices. Sr Business Intelligence Analyst will utilize all resources in their toolkit combined with proven experience to build sustainable, useful, and inspirational products.
WHERE YOU’LL WORK
This position will work a hybrid schedule from our Leawood, KS office location preferred. Remote will be considered within the United States.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME
- Provide data in an easily consumable format to all levels of the organization to assist in decisions that drive revenue and foster data exploration.
- Work with internal and external customers to understand business requirements and translate those business requirements into technical requirements for quick, actionable insights.
- Communicate with customers, both internal and external, in a professional and timely manner.
- Help business users understand and make conclusions from data for decision making purposes.
- Prioritize and manage deliverables to ensure process transparency and that commitments are met.
- Manage multiple complex projects independently while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Train, develop, and coach team members to foster independent and knowledgeable analysts.
- Serve as expert at the organization with respect to data ingestion, cleansing, reporting and analysis.
- Manage Custom Reporting product to ensure quality, scalability, and revenue generation.
- Leverage in-depth business and product knowledge to build and recommend streamlined approaches to complex problems.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or related field preferred. Relevant experience will be considered.
- Experience researching, analyzing and leveraging data from a wide range of internal and external resources.
- Experience with R, Python, C#.
- Polished analytic skills, business acumen, oral and written communication skills to be able to collaborate with all levels of the organization.
- Eager to learn self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on independence, quality, accuracy, and aesthetics.
- Experience working in Agile development environment and must be able to multi-task and prioritize in accordance with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with industry-leading database solutions (SSMS, SSIS, SQL Server, DB2, Oracle).
- Minimum 5 years of experience with industry-leading software solutions and concepts (GP, CRM, APIs, ETL, Datamarts, Windows Server, Microsoft Office)
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing content using industry-leading Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Cognos, Business Objects).
- Minimum 5 years administration experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Cognos, Business Objects)
