Solutions Consultant, Group Lead
Location Requirements: This role is Hybrid to one of our offices: Austin, Malvern, Naperville.
Your role on the team:
The Solutions Consultant, Group Lead is an important resource to our field sales team and prospective clients. This is a leadership position within our Solutions Consulting team reporting to the Senior Director of Solutions Consulting. This role actively supports the Solutions Consultant team through the presales process for multiple solutions throughout the sales process. This includes market education presentations and managing large, complex opportunities and demonstrations for Frontline Education’s products. This role works in conjunction with the sales team as the key solutions advisor and product advocate.
The Solutions Consultant, Group Lead is a presales professional who can articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users and who understands all Frontline Solutions. This role is responsible for knowledge across all solutions, not just within one specific solution area to the market. The ideal candidate is a thought leader, adaptive partner and trusted advisor.
You can expect to:
- Lead a high performing team of Solutions Consultants, providing coaching and guidance to ensure success in pre-sales engagements
- Meet with your team for 1:1s and provide feedback through regularly scheduled performance review process
- Ensure client satisfaction through all stages of the sales process
- Execute the design and delivery of dynamic and engaging solution product demonstrations
- Master full solution vision and deep domain expertise; become a subject matter expert on Frontline’s suite of products
- Cultivate both external and internal relationships, provide mentorship for Education Solution Executives, and align with internal presales and cross functional partners
- Oversee cross departmental collaboration and ensure the team is sharing and executing properly
- Reduce or eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive solutions
- Foster relationships and partner closely with product management and client services teams
- Ensure team’s knowledge of industry best practices, metrics, and current state of education while keeping an eye toward the competitive landscape
What you bring to the role:
- 5+ years’ experience in SaaS and/or K-12 sales or technical expertise
- 1 – 2 years’ experience as a people leader
- Willingness to take ownership of outcomes while holding yourself and your team accountable
- Experience researching public information on accounts, combined with discovery details and work with sales team to craft a personalized selling message
- Demonstrated ability to craft a demo story to a specific message, knowledge, or certification in Demo2Win is preferred
- Proven high quality prospect and customer service delivery
- Dedication to working with and communicating in a consultative sales team and support environment that allows for collaboration across service solution business lines
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills as well as solid writing skills
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to strategically provide guidance for cross-functional teams
- Effective pipeline management in a CRM tool (preferably Salesforce)
- RFP and bid process experience
- Strong selling, negotiating, and influencing skills and the ability to coach and train in a positive, effective manner
- Ability to travel approximately 50% with limited notice
- Familiarity with Frontline’s Human Capital Management suite is preferred
