Our client in the tech industry is seeking a talented Instructional Designer to assist in course development and content creation for internal training.
The ideal candidate will have strong skills in creating engaging digital, visual, and audio training materials and will partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to deliver high-quality instructional content. Proficiency in tools like Camtasia and Articulate, along with a solid understanding of Learning Theories and Instructional Strategies, is essential for success in this role.
Although the role is fully remote, candidates MUST be located in one of the following: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Washington D.C., Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
Responsibilities:
- Design and update interactive learning/training materials, including end-user and process documentation, utilizing digital, visual, and audio formats.
- Lead or support instructor-led trainings with varying audience sizes and complexity.
- Evaluate feedback and performance data to improve content effectiveness and delivery.
- Foster a collaborative learning environment to engage participants and meet learning objectives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance learning analytics and expand on training initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Education: Bachelors
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design/development or related fields.
- Proficient in MS365 and eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Camtasia, Articulate).
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred but not required:
- Experience with MS Dynamics (specifically Project Operations).
- Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) administration.
- Basic understanding of HTML, HTML5, SCORM, and MV4.
- Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies.
