The Operations Division at College Board is focused on leading the organization's transformation to support the delivery of digital assessments. The division aims to provide a strong customer engagement and world-class digital assessment delivery experience that annually supports millions of students and thousands of schools and test centers. The 70-person Assessment Delivery Operations (ADO) department is a combination of sub-teams that support Test Administration Management (TAM), Supply Chain & Logistics, and Publications and Content Management. This role is an Associate Director on the Test Administration Onboard team.
As the Associate Director, Service Provider Management, you will apply your business management skills and operational experience to manage global test center capacity for SAT weekend test administrations, working to proactively assess and meet capacity needs. You will collaborate with partners in key areas of the organization, including Program stakeholders in the management of this work. You will deliver insights to improve our early warning systems and forecast mechanisms to mitigate capacity gaps before they occur and engage and oversee outreach teams that work to procure new testing sites. You will think critically about how to strengthen our processes and reporting tools to enable greater agility, system automation, and higher levels of quality and efficiency for digital delivery.
We are seeking a dynamic, data-driven, and innovative individual who will play a pivotal role in transforming our legacy, current state model into one that leans more effectively on data analysis and interpretation to drive a cost-effective and forward-thinking approach to test center capacity management.
Manage Day to Day Test Center Capacity Operations (50%)
Meet the global test center capacity targets required for successful student registration based on the demand for SAT test takers. Work with Cost Management, CRA, and SP Director to proactively forecast capacity management needs in constrained international markets to address demand ahead of admin registration.
Assist with other TAM Onboard functions, including honoraria, test center optimization, test center renewal as needed.
Utilize data visualization processes to transform test center capacity management (30%)
Source, compile, and manage test center renewal data, registration, and seat utilization to generate capacity management reports for stakeholders, executive leadership and various internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Apply advanced analytical techniques to interpret quantitative data, identifying external trends, demand patterns, and insights that inform strategic decision-making
Monitor domestic and international capacity and manage the dissemination of information and execution of capacity related activity—such as outreach campaigns-- across TAM Connect, CRA, SDP, and International.
Complete Special Projects (20%)
Work with TAM Onboard Product Owner to establish domestic pop up testing sites to meet demands in capacity-constrained areas domestically. Assist with staffing model, communications, and test readiness, providing additional support where needed.
Exceptional data visualization skills, with the ability to gather, synthesize, and analyze relevant data to identify trends
The ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable, data-driven recommendations, and operations processes
Excellent communication skills - including attentive listening, confident speaking, effective writing, negotiating, and the ability to present clearly and concisely
Significant knowledge of Microsoft Office products; expert level proficiency with Excel, Smartsheet, Qualtrics, Web-based metrics
Reasoning, problem-solving solving, strategic thinking skills, and an ability to think ahead and plan over both a short (<2 weeks) and long (1-3 years) time span

The hiring range for a new employee in this position is $65,000 to $90,000. College Board differentiates salaries by location so where you live will narrow the portion of this range in which you can expect a salary.
