Description
The Customer Relationship Management Consultant (CRM Consultant) will work with partner institutions on CRM implementation, assessment, enhancement, and data integrations projects. This position focuses on delivering high-quality and innovative solutions to RNL campus partners to help those campuses better utilize their admissions/enrollment CRM to achieve communications and enrollment goals. Client success is the primary outcome.
The CRM Consultant will spend large periods of time engaging virtually with campus partners. Trouble-shooting and problem-solving are typically a large component in providing value to RNL clients. The CRM Consultant must be able to manage multiple projects and responsibilities at once while devoting sufficient time for each project to successfully complete deliverables by agreed upon timelines.
The CRM Consultant role is primarily a client delivery position however, other opportunities are available and could include representing RNL CRM Solutions in various forums, assisting with new project proposals, and developing innovative new solutions for client success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (not limited to)
- Be a positive representative of RNL and our brand in the marketplace, conducting all activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity
- Engage virtually with RNL CRM Solutions campus partners using several web-calling services such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc. with a high level of comfortability leading conversations while demonstrating concepts.
- Assist with maintaining and expanding the RNL Slate instance, developing features and functionality that can be easily replicated for campus partners
- Participate in, assist with the development, and present CRM best practice webinars in conjunction with other RNL colleagues
- Attend professional development, learning, and training opportunities both in person and virtually to expand and deepen knowledge of different CRMs (Slate, Salesforce, Recruit, etc)
- Manage and work with sensitive and legally protected student data on behalf of RNL campus partners; maintain knowledge on requirements for handling sensitive student data
- Provide feedback to the VP, CRM Solutions on ways to accelerate the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation
- Provide feedback to VP, CRM Solutions on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to clients by extending company offerings
Qualifications
Preferred:
- Previous experience as a Slate Captain
- 3+ years managing the Slate CRM in an admissions/enrollment or marketing environment
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years in a higher education admissions/enrollment office utilizing Technolutions Slate CRM
- Dedicated work ethic, with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Build and maintain good client relationships
- Ability to prioritize, execute, and complete tasks under tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to identify competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Logical thinking and process-driven; ability to design workflows and troubleshoot complex issues, and identify areas for improvement in current processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Ability to appear and work virtually with a professional presence
- Willingness to travel as needed (10%-15%)
- Ability to maintain and work in a remote home office
- Must be able to work in an environment where the noise level is moderate
- This is largely a sedentary role; Infrequent light physical effort is required (minimum of five pounds)
