POSITION SUMMARY:
The Site Director leads the programmatic, instructional and administrative success at our Newark campus. As the internal operations and program lead, you will play an integral role in managing day-to-day functions across teams and with respect to facilities. You will also be responsible for daily supervision and management of our instructors, ensuring that curriculum is taught consistently and in accordance with Per Scholas’ program requirements, with an eye toward fostering continuing growth in their classroom management and engagement skills, ensuring career development activities and onsite programming are occurring consistently and on track to meet goals. The Site Director works collaboratively with the Managing Director, Director, Recruitment and Admission, and Senior Director, Talent Solutions in guiding the strategic direction, overall management, and program performance of the Newark campus.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Program Leadership and Campus/Site Supervision:
- Serve as Newark’s primary liaison and point of contact for training delivery and services with administration and team leadership, and building operations management.
- Collaborate with the National Training Team and other key national teams in implementing all aspects of instructional training and programmatic administration, ensuring service delivery quality standards, and implementing necessary operational process changes and change management at the campus level.
- Manage Newark’s Program & Training staff, including Technology Instructors, Teaching Fellows, Instructional Assistants, and Director, Professional Development to ensure high-quality delivery of technology training and workforce preparation to Per Scholas learners and additional services to local alumni.
- Ensure consistent data collection and reporting, proposing and enacting process improvements as needed.
- Coordinate with building management and Per Scholas Core Mission Support team to maintain oversight of the physical campus facilities, resolving site-specific issues and communicating important information regarding on-site space.
- Work with Purchasing Manager to research, order and purchase technology requirements and supplies as needed by on-site program staff, learners, and facility
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Managing Director
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO US:
Professional Requirements
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant professional experience, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience including:
- Experience managing teams of strong performers to success
- Experience deploying a replicable process/methodology in a local campus/site
- Experience in adult learning/education with a focus on technology a plus
- Supporting relationship management at multiple levels of corporate hierarchies
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills within performance measurement frameworks
- Past success linking operational and business functions to strategic objectives
- Understanding of or prior experience in the technology field

For this role specifically,we are targeting a salary range between $90,000/year to $95,000/year, where the difference in salary is typically determined by several factors, including geography in which the selected candidate resides, and alignment with qualifications and experience.
