OPPORTUNITY
Nationally recognized nonprofit venture philanthropy seeks to hire two coordinators to provide administrative and operational capacity across our strategy. These roles are grant-funded positions and will be time-bound - one opportunity is for two years and the other is for four years.

RESPONSIBILITIES
We seek to hire two coordinators to provide operations and administrative capacity to help us deliver on our mission. As a coordinator, you will be a critical team member, supporting the overall execution of key deliverables and maximizing the team’s effectiveness. NewSchools is a fully remote organization and you will be able to live anywhere in the United States, however, we expect that you will be able to travel up to 10% for in-person team meetings, retreats and conferences.
In this role, your legacy will include:
Managing the administrative needs of a NewSchools team, you will:
- Ensure effective team meeting scheduling, proactively identify conflicts and rescheduling needs
- Work with external stakeholders, including funders, ventures, partners and staff members, prioritizing clear communication and responsiveness. Represent NewSchools in a positive and professional manner to all external stakeholders
- Develop the systems for shared note-taking and facilitation of team meetings. Support team lead with agenda creation by soliciting topics for discussion and ensuring team members know their roles. Provide after meeting summaries including notes and next steps
- Coordinate the logistics for team events, including managing RSVP lists, identifying meeting space, scheduling meals and transportation, and organizing supplies
- Support knowledge management by developing a document management and organization system, assisting with data entry into systems such as Airtable and Salesforce, and supporting other data collection needs
- Implement strong data collection and analysis tools to support tracking of impact measurement requirements and grants management
- Draft templates for team related communications and implement contracts
Providing capacity to team leaders to ensure they are set up to do their best work, you will:
- Ensure team leader(s) are well prepared and informed for external and internal meetings
- Field requests for team leader(s)’ time and effectively prioritize requests based on importance and urgency
- Coordinate pre-meetings, gather input/deliverables from relevant stakeholders and/or create materials to prepare for meetings
- Manage scheduling, travel and expense reimbursement for team leaders(s)
Contributing to the health and culture of the team, you will:
- Participate in team meetings and actively work to help co-create the culture of the team
- Plan at least two culture-building activities for the team annually
- Provide additional support as requested
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing operations for a team
- Strong customer service background
- Deep comfort utilizing Google Suite, Salesforce and AirTable.

COMPENSATION
We offer a competitive compensation package including base salary, performance bonus, professional development, and complete benefits.
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 based on experience with the potential for an annual bonus up to 5%. Final salary will be determined based on experience level and qualifications.
