The Talent Search Group at PiP is seeking a Sales Representative (K-12), Ohio, on behalf of our client, an established publishing company offering print and digital learning resources to K-12 educators and learners.
The Ohio Sales Representative for K-12 will be responsible for driving sales growth and enhancing account penetration by building strong customer relationships and securing new clients across the state.
You will
- Create strategic plans for the territory that identify and develop sales opportunities
- Manage the territory holistically, with ownership over the entire sales cycle from qualifying leads through close
- Service existing accounts and establish new accounts by developing positive, influential relationships with key stakeholders (Curriculum Directors, Coaches, Principals and Superintendents) across territory
- Demonstrate a strong technology background and aptitude required to sell and support a major growth area of the company, digital stand alone as well as blended print and digital products
- Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers and potential customers in the Company’s CRM
Candidates must have
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university
- Classroom teaching and K-12 Leadership and or District Level Leadership
- 2+ years of quota-bearing enterprise sales experience, preferably in the education market
Travel for this role includes participation in conventions, exhibits and sales meetings as needed, and regular travel through the assigned territory (which may include overnight travel).
