About the Opportunity
This is a contract-based role supporting one of Infopro’s top clients. The position is ad hoc in nature, meaning hours and workload will vary depending on project needs. The Grant Writer will play a critical role in securing funding to support healthcare, research, education, and public health initiatives. This position is fully remote, offering flexibility and a chance to contribute to impactful projects on a project-by-project basis.
Position Summary
The Grant Writer will be responsible for identifying, applying for, and securing grant funding. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare, research, education, and public health initiatives, with a proven ability to craft compelling, fundable proposals that align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Grant Research & Strategy Development
- Research and identify funding opportunities from foundations, agencies, corporations, and other sources.
- Analyze and align funding opportunities with the client’s health initiatives and programs.
- Develop and maintain a grant pipeline to track opportunities and submission deadlines.
Grant Writing & Proposal Development
- Write, edit, and prepare persuasive grant proposals, letters of intent, and supporting documents tailored to funder requirements.
- Clearly articulate program objectives, goals, and anticipated outcomes with a focus on health impact, evidence-based practices, and the client’s mission.
- Collaborate with program and finance teams to incorporate relevant data, statistics, and financial projections into proposals.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in health, communications, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
Experience
3-5 years of proven success in grant writing, particularly within healthcare, public health, or nonprofit organizations.
Skills
- Strong writing, editing, and research skills with the ability to translate complex health information into accessible language.
- Proficiency with grant management software and databases.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and funders.
Work Arrangement
This is a remote, flexible, and ad hoc position. Hours will be determined based on project needs and deadlines, with no set weekly or monthly commitment.
