The System Administrator will maintain and support the IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security of systems and networks. The role includes creating documentation, conducting training, providing post-implementation support, and collaborating on project teams. The administrator will also mentor and supervise staff and project teams, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to best practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
System and Hardware Maintenance
- Installs, configures, and maintains data center hardware including servers, storage systems, and operating systems
- Troubleshoots and resolves hardware issues to ensure optimal performance
User Account Maintenance
- Manages user accounts and access permissions for systems
- Provides support for account-related issues and ensures security protocols are followed
Documentation and Training
- Creates detailed documentation for systems and processes
- Develops and conducts training sessions for staff and end-users
Project Development and Implementation
- Collaborates on project teams to develop and implement data center projects
- Provides post-implementation support to ensure smooth operation
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, and network devices
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix)
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of documentation and training development
- Skill in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Ability to manage user accounts and ensure data security
- Ability to work collaboratively on project teams

Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate); and experience with system administration and IT infrastructure management is preferred.
