TITLE: Senior Manager, People (Recruiter)

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
As we expand our People team, we are on the lookout for a seasoned Recruiter with a knack for the full recruitment lifecycle. This role is pivotal in aligning Per Scholas’ talent acquisition strategies with our overarching mission, ensuring we attract and engage top-tier talent, particularly in the realm of IT Instruction, fundraising, and talent solutions sales, to drive forward our goals.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Serve as a strategic partner to leaders, offering insights on the competitive landscape and local market dynamics to support our growth and business objectives.
- Craft memorable experiences for both candidates and hiring managers, positioning Per Scholas as a premier employer.
- Maintain a high level of data integrity and proactive communication, ensuring real-time updates within our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse).
- Employ innovative sourcing strategies to discover diverse talent pools, utilizing direct sourcing, cold calling, and employer branding efforts.
- Analyze recruitment metrics to inform leadership and refine recruitment strategies.
- Collaborate with the People Team and hiring managers to define role expectations and fit within the organization.
- Screen and shortlist candidates, leveraging advanced search techniques to uncover passive candidates.
- Contribute to the development of robust talent pipelines for future staffing needs.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support the team.
- Support and lead recruitment strategy & operations projects.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO US:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, a plus.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in talent acquisition within a dynamic, high-growth environment, with a particular focus on technical and non-technical roles.
- Demonstrated proficiency in sourcing passive candidates and building diverse talent pools.
- Excellent emotional intelligence, coupled with strong persuasion and influence skills, to effectively consult with a variety of stakeholders.
- Analytical acumen, with a history of leveraging hiring data to drive strategic recruitment solutions.
- Expertise in applicant tracking systems and the Google Suite. Highly preferred if you have experience with Greenhouse.
- A passion for working in a mission-driven, fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative, flexible approach to work, with a strong ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- A tech-savvy, quick learner with meticulous attention to detail and superior organizational skills.

For this role specifically, we are targeting a salary between $75,000 and $80,000 where the difference in salary is typically determined by several factors, including geography in which the selected candidate resides, and alignment with qualification and experience.
