Who We’re Looking for
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Vice President of Marketing who will take a lead role in continuing to accelerate our growth in the K-12 education market. You think of marketing’s role in the organization holistically, touching every aspect of the sales process and customer experience. You use a data-driven approach for lead generation for sales, encompassing new prospects, existing prospects and customers. You’re equally comfortable working as a peer with other leadership team members and rolling up your sleeves with a tight-knit marketing team.
Role Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering professional growth and enhancing team capabilities.
Cultivate a collaborative work environment that promotes innovation, transparency, and accountability.
Ensure effective cross-functional communication and alignment between product, engineering, design, and other teams.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track marketing performance and measure the success of initiatives.
Provide regular updates and reports to executive leadership on product strategy, development progress, and performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a SaaS company; EdTech experience a plus
Proven experience in digital marketing, brand management, content creation, event marketing, and product marketing.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
