About the Role
We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and are dedicated to helping our clients succeed. We are currently seeking an experienced Scholarship Application Program Manager to join our team as we continue to grow our position as the leading financial platform in the public funds market across the United States. Application eligibility services are an important part of these multi-million dollar, multi-year programs and require oversight from the beginning through renewals and close-out. As an Application Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional support and service to various State programs including ESA and microgrant programs. The role requires the oversight of an application portal in conjunction with the client’s rules and eligibility criteria to include specification, testing, go-live, reporting, and on-going program management. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on families and their use of State government funding, while also taking on the responsibilities of program management for career development.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of accountability and communication of State eligibility programs
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for Client Administrators and Project Managers, providing personalized support and guidance to address their needs and challenges
- Act as a subject matter expert on best practices for Eligibility Program Administration including developing Standard Operating Procedures and perform ongoing Quality Assurance
- Provide subject matter expertise to solve complex client issues
- Provide training/webinars for full range of users (novice to experts)
- Perform application specification, design, testing, go-live and change management as required
- Collaborate closely with client success, product enhancement, implementation, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless transition from implementation to ongoing customer success
- Provide input to Proposals, Project Plans, and Cost estimates for major projects
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role within the SaaS or technology industry
- Demonstrated success in the application/portal/eligibility/scholarship process
- Demonstrated success in building and nurturing client relationships, driving customer satisfaction, and achieving business results
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs and concerns
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in both remote and onsite environments
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in leading small teams in a public sector environment
- Experience with project management tools like MS Project and Asana
- Report-building experience and ability to communicate to internal and external audiences
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Experience with CRM systems, support ticketing platforms, and customer success tools
- Public sector experience is a plus
- Experience with various technologies like: Google Suite, Salesforce, QuickSight (or similar BI platform) is a plus
