JOB SUMMARY: The primary role of the Staffing Coordinator is to partner with the General Manager and the Talent Acquisition Department; offering administrative support and assistance for the end-to-end hiring process. Duties include but are not limited to maintaining requisition/candidate files, administering pre-employment tests, and fingerprinting for background checks for candidates, placing new hires for school sites, and supporting the onboarding process of new hires. The Staffing Coordinator is a critical member of the Region. She/he works closely with their Staffing Manager, General Manager, and the Human Resources department to deliver positive results throughout the hiring process.
The Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities:

- Oversees collection and reporting of employee data supporting Think Together programs; including supplemental staffing needs, long-term planning for concurrent programs in the Region; ensure high data quality.
- Proctors and grades pre-employment tests.
- Conducts Live Scans for new hires.
- Supports recruiters in the onboarding process of new hires.
- Support in managing scheduled interviews and/or assessments with candidates and Site Coordinators, Quality Assurance Coaches and Hiring Managers.
- Maintains staffing charts, supplemental staffing charts and recruiting reports.
- Place new hires in appropriate school sites based on current needs of the region.
- Updates & maintains candidate status in the Applicant Tracking System.
- Support and coordinate activities between Program Departments and the Regional Hub office; and work cooperatively and collaboratively with regional and program staff to support staffing needs.
- Attends and participates in meetings and training with TA (Talent Acquisition), Regional Hub, and Program teams.
- Organizes own work to ensure deadlines are met.
- Completes work on time and communicates candidate status with hiring managers and any other essential parties.
- Serves as the back-up for the Sub-Coordinator with the placement of substitutes; may serve as back-up for the Human Resources Coordinator for new hire paperwork or orientation.

- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

- Must be willing to become Live Scan certified within 10 days of start date (Certification paid through Think Together).
- Strong organizational skills and relating data to business and operations metrics.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
- Organized, focused on details and able to change and adjust according to changes in projects or business needs.
- Demonstrates cross-cultural sensitivity with demonstrated experience and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks with accuracy, shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines.
- Must be able to prioritize workload.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Provides ongoing support to other Staffing Coordinators and TA Team as needed.
- Communication with multiple internal departments, hiring managers and leaders within the organization.
- Willing to work occasional evenings and weekends.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Two (2) years college degree or equivalent experience.
- High volume administrative experience a plus.
- Innovating user of Applicant Tracking Systems, Survey Monkey, and ADP workforce preferred, or prior HRIS systems experience, is a plus.
- Knowledge of and experience with data management and various analytic tools.
- Must pass Live Scan (fingerprinting), Background Check, and Tuberculosis test.
