About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and creative Videographer and Content Creator to help us produce fresh and engaging video content for a variety of channels. The Videographer will work closely with our marketing and product teams to further develop our brand and deliver beautiful content that helps educators, parents, and the world connect with MarcoPolo Learning.
What You’ll Do:
- Interpret and execute shot lists, mood boards, and creative briefs to visually bring ideas to life.
- Use your expertise in light, color, composition, and movement to create visually stunning and engaging content.
- Work closely with the Line Producer for support in pre-production and post-production tasks, focusing solely on your creative and technical responsibilities during production.
- Direct and film on-set, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with project objectives.
- Collaborate with the team to integrate video and design elements for a cohesive visual representation of the MarcoPolo brand.
- Work with young children on set, bringing out natural, authentic performances.
- Inspire innovative approaches to storytelling, contributing fresh ideas to enhance the MarcoPolo brand.
- Maintain a high creative standard for all content produced.
Your Skills and Experience:
Education: BA / BFA in Film, Video Production, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience in creative video production (in-house or agency).
- Prior experience in the education space or working with children is highly preferred.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in camera operation, lighting setups, and cinematography techniques.
- Strong knowledge of visual storytelling and the ability to communicate story arcs effectively.
Collaborative Skills:
- Ability to work closely with a Line Producer to coordinate pre-production and post-production tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and on-set personnel.
Portfolio: A compelling portfolio showcasing high-quality creative work and experience in relevant projects.
Customer Focus: Ability to center the brand and customer in the creative process.
Project Management: Strong ability to manage on-set production schedules and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
