Head of Business Operations (Director)

About the Role
The Head of Business Operations will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) and partner closely with the leadership team to align cross-functional efforts, optimize workflows, and provide actionable insights that drive performance and growth. This role encompasses three core workstreams: Revenue Operations, Strategy Planning, and Business Insights.
As a key leader, you will build foundational capabilities in revenue operations and business insights, empowering the organization with data-driven strategies and scalable processes. Responsibilities
1. Revenue Operations
- Analyze end-to-end go-to-market motions to identify opportunities for process optimization and revenue growth.
- Build and implement scalable revenue operations capabilities that align Sales, Marketing, and Partnership efforts with organizational goals.
- Define and track KPIs, ensuring consistent measurement of team performance and alignment with company objectives.
- Manage and optimize the end-to-end revenue process, including forecasting, pipeline management, and quota setting.
- Partner with leadership to implement tools, processes, and systems that enhance productivity, data accuracy, and decision-making.
2. Strategy Planning
- Spearhead company-wide strategic planning processes, including OKR setting, alignment, and tracking.
- Prepare and present data-driven insights for board meetings, leadership reviews, and other strategic forums.
- Develop and maintain financial and operational models to inform resource allocation and long-term planning.
3. Business Insights
- Build and operationalize the Business Insights function from the ground up, creating systems to deliver actionable intelligence across the organization.
- Work with partners to develop dashboards, reports, and analyses to provide visibility into key performance metrics and inform strategic decisions.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, empowering teams with insights that enhance performance and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Experience:10+ years of experience in business operations, revenue operations, or strategy roles, preferably in high-growth organizations (EdTech or SaaS experience is a plus).
- Proven success in managing and scaling operational teams and building new functions from scratch.
- Skills:Exceptional analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel, and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
- Strong expertise in financial and operational modeling, scenario analysis, and forecasting.
- Effective communicator with experience preparing board-level presentations and influencing senior leadership.
- Personal Attributes:Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and comfort in ambiguity.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.

This is a US-based hybrid position.Candidates residing outside the United States will not be considered. The salary range for this full-time position is $175,000 to $225,000 + stock options. The actual compensation offered will depend on work experience and skill level.
