Event Marketing Manager
LifeLabs Learning is known for our best-in-class L&D live workshops and training. Our clients love our science-backed approach to upskilling their workforce. We are looking for a B2B Events Marketer with a strong background in field marketing, both virtual and in-person events, to join our team. We have a strong events strategy in place and we are looking for a motivated leader to refine our strategy across the board. In this role, you will own field marketing strategy and execution. You’ll be an expert project manager, collaborate well with our external partners, and help us reach ambitious revenue goals through creating demand through our events. As the Event Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our marketing strategies, particularly in the events space, to strengthen our presence in the learning and development industry and deliver on our company's vision.
What You’ll Do:
- Event Strategy: Develop and build upon a comprehensive strategy for marketing through events, covering both virtual and in-person events. You’ll be responsible for our popular series Culture Club, a thriving community of POPs leaders who meet virtually and in-person, in addition to a variety of co-marketed partner events, and large trade shows. This includes outlining goals, target audiences, and the tactical plan to achieve these objectives.
- Event Planning: Lead the planning and execution of events, from small workshops to large-scale conferences and tradeshows, ensuring they align with the brand message and resonate with our target audience.
- Project Management: Excel at managing details and ensuring events are project managed to an expert level.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with content creators to generate engaging content and materials specific to events, such as presentations, collateral, and promotional materials.
- Promotion: Implement marketing campaigns that drive attendance and engagement for events. This includes email marketing, social media, and other promotional channels.
- Audience Engagement: Develop strategies for audience engagement during events, ensuring participants have a meaningful and memorable experience.
- Feedback Analysis: Collect and analyze feedback from events to continuously improve and fine-tune future strategies.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitive activities, integrating these insights into pr, community, events and brand strategies.
- Partner Relationship Management: Maintain the strong relationships we have with our events partners and find new opportunities to engage in partnerships as it relates to our events strategy.
- Team Collaboration: Build strong relationships across the company to work with our facilitators and train them on events, work with our sales team and align with them on goals for events and their roles, and work with the marketing team to ensure our events are meeting customer needs across the funnel.
KPI's:
- Leads, MQLs, SQLs, Open Opps and Revenue from Events
- Event registration & attendance
- Number of events/month
- Conversion rates from events
What You’ll Bring:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in brand marketing, with a specific focus on events, both virtual and in-person.
- Proven track record in planning and executing events, from small-scale to large conferences. You are able to speak to how you evaluate success and the KPIs you’ve used to achieve results through field-marketing.
- Strong content creation skills, including the ability to craft engaging event-specific content.
- Solid marketing background with expertise in event promotion and audience engagement.
- Proficiency in analyzing event data and feedback to refine strategies.
- Technical expertise in events software including: Hubspot, Splash, and Zoom strongly preferred.
- Experience within the learning & development industry is strongly preferred.

- Employment Type: Full-time
- Starting Salary: $85K starting base salary
- Starting salary matches your skills and readiness for the role assessed during the interview process.
- Compensation: salary + bonus (Success Share)

- Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in our quarterly Success Share program which is a 10% bonus on your eligible earnings when we hit our quarterly revenue target.
- Long-Term Incentive Plan: As part of your compensation package, you will be eligible to participate in the company's Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP). Your equity grant will be commensurate with the ‘Lead’ band of this role.
