About our Team: Our One Finance applications team manages the finance systems for RELX (covering the Elsevier, LexisNexis and Risk divisions). The global team works in a collaborative environment working with a blended team of developers and application managers using agile development practices to support the Fusion ERP cloud application and related solutions.
About the Role: RELX continues to transform its business within its differing divisions and continues experiencing strong growth. This is translating directly into demand for change and new projects in the Source to Pay process areas of business. To support this growth, we need a dynamic, forward-thinking individual to partner with our finance, operations and broader business colleagues to deliver solutions in procurement, accounts payable, expenses and related applications that are integrated with the existing Oracle Fusion ERP landscape.
Responsibilities
Work with developers and other application managers in the technology team to design and implement new solutions that will meet business needs.
Partner with stakeholders and experts across the source to pay and wider finance teams to understand new business models, processes and impacts on existing solutions.
Partner with related teams in integration, procurement, master data management and finance systems to build holistic solutions that meet enterprise standards.
Hands-on configuration of Fusion ERP to setup the application parts of the solution.
Complete systems and integration testing to ensure the built solution meets the requirements agreed; support the business operations and finance teams through UAT.
Ensure work is delivered to the time and cost constraints agreed with project managers and stakeholders whilst achieving the quality standards agreed.
Production Support
Be accountable for the delivery of application support to maintain, operate and develop the Oracle Fusion S2P solution.
Within the application management team own and proactively manage all incidents, tasks and change requests assigned from the One Finance Helpdesk. Where required raise SRs with Oracle and progress through to conclusion.
Requirements
Possess current and extensive Oracle Fusion ERP Skills. (Please do not apply without this expertise)
Have solid functional knowledge of most of the following Oracle Fusion ERP modules: Sourcing and Contracting, Procurement, Payables (including Payments), Cash Management and Expenses. Knowledge General Ledger and Tax is advantageous.
Demonstrate functional knowledge of the typical business processes that surround the modules outlined above.
Familiarity with integration from external systems such as Banks, Oracle R12, Peoplesoft and custom-built solutions, either via API or batch processes.
Knowledge of tables used in above modules and BI publisher to be able to retrieve data extracts.
