Job Description:

WorldStrides is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive growth within the educational travel sector across Montreal. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a strong sales pipeline, generating new business opportunities, and cultivating long-term client relationships with schools, educators, and parent groups.

You will actively engage prospects through lead generation, cold outreach, meetings, and presentations (both virtual and in-person), while also leveraging existing client relationships to expand opportunities. The role requires identifying client needs, developing customized travel proposals, and delivering accurate quotes and itineraries aligned with educational objectives. Success in this position requires strong communication skills in both English and French, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will also travel to meet clients, deliver presentations, and deepen destination knowledge of WorldStrides’ programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for building and managing the sales pipeline of prospective new clients.
  • Actively pursuing and performing client lead generation, personal meeting, cold calling, email marketing, lead nurturing, lead validating, and lead closing.
  • Follow up on new opportunities generated by eMarketing initiatives;
  • Use existing client base to expand sales opportunities;
  • Identify the prospective client’s goals and solution their needs;
  • Prepare travel proposals making sure to meet the potential client's objectives;
  • Build accurate quotes and accurately timed itineraries;
  • Do a rigorous follow-up and maintain constant and pleasant communication with potential clients;
  • Perform analysis of our database in order to find potential sales opportunities;
  • Promote referral programs in order to expand opportunities within the client’s community.
  • Conduct live and virtual presentations with parents, teachers and school administrators
  • Gain destination knowledge of our core products
  • Conduct business trips to conduct live presentations, meet clients and establish new relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to write and speak English and French at a business level
  • College or university degree in Tourism management, Business or related program
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Organized, self-motivated and goal-orientated
  • High energy with a desire to meet results in a customer-centric, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task, adapt to change and “think outside the box.”
  • Experience in sales with proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets is a plus
  • Experience in the educational travel industry is a plus
