As a 25-year veteran of K12 Education and the EdTech industry, I bring a deep understanding, passion, and growth mindset to my mission of helping teachers and students. After experiencing the power of EdTech in my classroom, I saw the opportunity for a more significant impact. I left to become the fifth employee of Study Island, the pioneer in SaaS-based EdTech.
As the top-performing sales executive in 2005 and 2006, I played a crucial role in Study Island's explosive growth and inclusion in the INC 500 as the fastest-growing educational company in 2006. I also built, aligned, and scaled Study Island’s first Business Development and Customer Success teams.
In 2012, after an IPO and an acquisition by Plato Learning, I was challenged to create, from the ground up, the Inside Sales, Retention, and Customer Success operations for Istation, a leading provider of computer adaptive assessment and instruction. I also collaboratively built the process and communications for Istation’s initial 2012 statewide contract with the TEA.
I am the Founder and Principal Advisor for Growth Mindset Consulting, a firm committed to helping early-stage EdTech companies acquire customers and grow revenue through Fractional Sales Leadership.
My deep knowledge of EdTech sales strategy and operations, customer retention, and customer success allows companies and schools to maximize desired outcomes and experience substantial growth.
