About
I spent over nine years teaching English Language Arts at the middle school level, where I developed curriculum, guided literacy growth, and supported both students and colleagues in their learning journeys. My dedication to education was recognized in 2023 when I received the Grinspoon Award for Teacher Excellence.
In addition to teaching, I served as a grade-level team leader and new teacher mentor, where I planned, organized, and facilitated PLCs, represented my colleagues as a voice for the team, and supported teachers in reaching their full potential. On the Instructional Leadership Team, I observed classrooms to identify best practices, provided feedback at the district level, and helped design building-wide PLC structures. Separately, I also contributed as a member of the PBIS Committee, helping to shape school-wide culture and positive behavior supports.
Beyond these leadership roles, I stepped up to plan and lead school-wide events throughout the year and wrote yearly grants to secure funding for student activities, ensuring enrichment opportunities were available for learners. As a Varsity Cheer coach, I brought energy, resilience, and teamwork into athletics, further expanding my leadership experience.
After years of teaching, I am excited to bring these experiences into new contexts. My background in curriculum development, instructional design, content creation, professional learning facilitation, classroom management, and leadership equips me to contribute to roles where communication, collaboration, and innovation are valued. I especially enjoy working alongside peers to solve problems, design engaging learning experiences, and support growth at both individual and organizational levels.
I am now seeking opportunities outside of the classroom in areas such as curriculum development, instructional design, educational consulting, program management, or EdTech training and support. My goal is to continue making a meaningful difference—this time by applying my skills to support learners, educators, and organizations on a broader scale.
