About
I am an educator at heart and my goal is to continue working in Education even though I am no longer in the classroom. I dedicated 15 years to my students in the brick and mortar classroom and now my career has taken me into the Ed Tech world.
Presently, I am beginning a new role as a Seasonal Academic Solutions Engineer. I have recently worked as a Lead Program Coordinator. Some of my responsibilities were to onboard and provide continued support to a team of Program Coordinators in the Southeastern U.S.
Additionally, I was responsible for implementing company technology, providing support and training to my own local school programs. Some of my strengths are communication, organization and the ability to draw from my experience in education to support fellow educators.
I obtained a Master of Arts in Education from Michigan State University and have 15 years' experience as an Early Childhood classroom teacher in the brick-and-mortar setting.
I have experienced several different online learning platforms in the past few years and have taught online as an English Second Language Instructor. I am familiar with Google, Zoom, Microsoft and am skilled in the areas of communication, organization, team collaboration and creative lesson planning.
The world of Education and how technology is used in the classroom is changing rapidly, and I am eager to be a part of it.
