I have 16 years in public education with a unique skillset from classroom experience, instructional technology expertise and serving educators at the district level. I understand all perspectives of K-12 education and can advocate for all areas of improvement. I taught for 10 years prior to serving the learning communities in Azle ISD as an Instructional Technology Specialist. In this role, I have become an excellent customer service manager, learned to manage multiple tasks at one time and providing individualized training for 200+ employees. My dedication to serving was publicly awarded with the peer nominated "Heart of Azle" award in 2020 because of my community service and leadership during the Covid-19 virtual learning initiative.
