About
Hello! My name is George Philip LeBourdais but you can call me “GP.” I’ve worn a lot of hats from high school teacher to college lecturer, and Fulbright Scholar to edtech executive. The common thread that binds these experiences is a deep commitment to preparing students to thrive both personally and professionally.
I have two decades of experience in secondary and post-secondary education. I’ve taught high school French at Millbrook School and the flagship Art & Architecture course at Williams College. I managed the undergrad research program at Stanford’s Center for Spatial and Textual Analysis and led instructor training for the university’s Center for Teaching and Learning. I’ve completed entrepreneurship programs at Stanford’s GSB and Santa Clara’s Leavey School of Business, and driven product development and institutional research at Polygence.org, an innovative mentorship platform. And I’ve developed interactive museum exhibitions with the Williams College Museum of Art and Stanford’s Cantor Arts Center. Throughout this work, my aim is to create engaging learning environments that highlight and develop our essential human qualities, like creativity, empathy, and critical thinking.
A Mainer by birth, I live in San Francisco with my wife and daughters. We do a lot camping and even more singing.
