Instructional designer and educator with 16 years of experience designing, delivering, and evaluating learning programs across higher education, K-12, corporate, and community-based settings. I build courses from the ground up in Canvas LMS — designing module architecture, writing learning outcomes, developing assessments, and creating multimedia instructional materials across online, hybrid, and face-to-face modalities. My work spans diverse learner populations: multilingual university students, adult immigrants and refugees, K-12 ESL learners, and English for Academic Purposes students across four countries.My PhD research in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics at Arizona State University focuses on how multilingual writers transfer genre knowledge across languages — research that directly informs how I design instruction for diverse learners. I hold an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Fort Hays State University and have formal training in online course design (ENG 594), Universal Design for Learning, WCAG accessibility, and learning science theory through the National Humanities Center Graduate Student Winter Residency.I bring a unique combination of deep pedagogical expertise and professional operations experience.
