About
Hi, I’m Heidi Coffin—a former educator turned instructional designer with a passion for creating inclusive, engaging, and evidence-based learning experiences.
With over a decade of classroom experience and a Master’s in Technology for Education and Training, I bring a unique blend of learning science, creativity, and empathy to the design table. I’ve transitioned from guiding young learners to designing impactful digital learning for adult audiences, and I love using tools like ActivePresenter, Adobe Captivate, Articalate 360, and Rise to build interactive, scenario-based courses that drive real-world behavior change.
My recent work includes a self-paced course that integrates gamification, multimedia, and emotional design to foster psychological safety and learner motivation. I specialize in user-focused design, accessibility, and creating learning experiences that are as meaningful as they are memorable.
When I’m not designing learning experiences, you can find me spending time with my family, painting, or selling my work at local craft shows.
