About
After graduating from Yale with a B.A. in Linguistics, I became an educator through Teach for America. Upon completing my two year commitment in June 2020, I moved into the tech field. Though I majored in Linguistics, I studied Computer Science throughout most of my college years, including Natural Language Processing. To facilitate my transition, I pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science, expanding my skills in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms.
I've now spent nearly 3 years as a Data Scientist for the US Federal Government applying Natural Language Processing and Data Analysis skills in research, cybersecurity, and business management settings to develop government capabilities in topic modeling, large language models, and automated analysis for improved mission outcomes.
More recently, I have had opportunities outside of my tech work to contribute to a two-player card game, Dinn, as a lead game designer, while also bringing in data science skills to inform our company decisions with business analytics.
I thrive in problem-solving environments, which is what drives me to data science. In addition, my leadership experiences have given me the privilege of knowing that I work well under pressure and fast-changing conditions, which were heavily required to produce a game in a delicate landscape, and to run a business in a rapidly changing economy.
I look forward to finding my next role, where I hope to use my skill set to contribute to a company with a people-first mission.
