About
Education professional with 17 years of progressive experience in bilingual education, student support, and counseling. I bring a proven record of driving student growth through data-informed decision-making, program implementation, and cross-functional collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families.
As a classroom teacher, I collaborated with teams to design and deliver lessons tailored to diverse learners, mentored colleagues in the effective use of Imagine Learning for Emergent Bilinguals, and monitored student growth to inform instructional adjustments. I also contributed to campus culture and staff morale as an active Sunshine Club member.
Currently, I serve as a School Counselor, overseeing 504 plan implementation, providing targeted counseling and emotional regulation strategies, and delivering guidance lessons aligned to ASCA and Texas competencies. In addition, I have experience working with Pearson as a scorer for state testing, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of student assessment outcomes.
Core strengths include:
Leadership in 504 plan coordination and compliance
Data analysis to track and report student performance and growth
Program implementation for Emergent Bilinguals and diverse student populations
Social-emotional learning and behavioral intervention strategies
Strong communication and collaborative skills with stakeholders
I am passionate about fostering equitable educational opportunities, advancing student well-being, and supporting organizational goals through innovative counseling and instructional practices.
