About
As a recent graduate from Miami University, I began my teaching career at Graham Elementary and Middle School, where I was a fourth-grade classroom teacher of 27 students, including 16 with IEPs. I designed engaging, differentiated lessons to meet a wide range of learning needs and created an inclusive, supportive environment through strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues. I also integrated social-emotional learning and goal-setting into daily instruction to help students build confidence, self-awareness, and resilience. Throughout the year, I used educational technology to enhance instruction and support diverse learners.
As a student teacher at Delshire Elementary, I led fifth-grade math and science lessons with an inquiry-based approach and used tech tools to support engagement and personalized learning, especially for students with 504 plans.
Outside the classroom, I've led international student trips with Moondance Adventures, managing logistics, safety, and group dynamics—experiences that sharpened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. I'm excited to bring this background into the edtech space to support students and educators in new ways.
