About
I worked for an EdTech company for 28 years as a project manager and editor. I worked in the K12 market mostly on products for students in grades 5-8. Later I worked on the company's product for grades K-3. In addition to my time in the K12 market, I also spent time working in the Higher Ed market developing the company's first Higher Ed product for the classroom using my instructional design skills.
After leaving my corporate job, I started to freelance and worked as a project manager for a couple of K12 projects in Math and Social Studies. In addition, I have worked as a curriculum developer creating and managing the creation of more than 100 lesson plans in several subject areas, including ELA, Social Studies, and Science.
I have attained a PMP certification for project management, as well as a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. I am competent using several different software applications and I can easily learn new software as needed.
