As a lifelong learner, I have dedicated the past decade to facilitating learning experiences and encouraging growth mindset. I am a certified Special Education Teacher, and I work with students in the general and special education classrooms. I teach Math, English, and Reading, as well as Social Skills and Self Regulation/Behavior Skills. As a Special Education Teacher, I am responsible for creating my own curriculum (that aligns with state standards and my students' unique needs), and creating/curating material. Another aspect of the position is being an IEP Case Manager. I am responsible for facilitating meetings, collecting data, writing reports, and ensuring that I effectively communicate my students' needs to staff members.

I have my B.A. in English and my M.S. in Learning Experience Design and Technology (K-12 and Adult Learners). I am exploring new career opportunities outside of the traditional classroom. I am also open to contract work (e.g., curriculum design and alignment, assessment creation, etc.).
