About
I have been in education for over 25 years, to include higher education administration, academic advising, recruitment, sales, and program management. I also have 4 years of classroom experience teaching English Language Arts, Writing, Social Studies, and English as a Second Language. Within the education sector I have worked for Universities, public school districts, for profit, and non for profit organizations. At this current time I am transitioning out of the classroom in order to obtain a different career within education, business, or a corporation. I am looking for a position where I can utilize the abundance of transferable skills I have and use them to be successful in one of these industries. Some of my other skills are self starter, organized, effective communicator, and I enjoy providing excellent customer service.
My education background consists of a Master’s of Science degree in Higher Education Administration, Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, and Texas teaching certifications in Core Subjects EC-6 with STR and English as a Second Language.
I have lived, studied, and traveled abroad within numerous countries where I gained significant skills in relating to others with different cultural and language backgrounds, adding to my effective communication skills and the ability to acclimate to diverse environments.
