About
In my current position, I am a lead mathematics teacher at Phillipsburg High School and successfully engaged fellow teachers and administration in Professional Development seminars for class design, lesson planning, and classroom management. I have also been the lead teacher for the creation of two new state accredited math courses at Phillipsburg. Along with this, I created and developed curricula that fostered critical thinking and problem-solving skills. My expertise includes learner engagement, curriculum development, public speaking, classroom instruction, team building, and technology integration. I am adept at leveraging data-driven decision making and individualized instruction to optimize learning outcomes.
I bring strengths in from the past 14 years, which include: breaking down large goals into executable steps (operations and enablement), real-time data-driven decision making (progress tracking = KPI’s), conflict management and negotiation, cross functional collaboration (parents, administration, counselors, coaches, tutors, and external organizations, process building and process improvement, speaking, presenting, and training with clarity and influence, and rapid problem solving under pressure with zero buffer or escalation time. Additionally, my background in educational technology and instructional strategies positions me well to contribute to the optimization of learning management systems.
