About
With over five years of experience in teaching, I am passionate about empowering students and learners of all ages and backgrounds with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the global economy. As a Business Education Teacher, I design and deliver engaging and relevant curriculum that covers topics such as entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, accounting and management. I use instructional technology tools, and various LMS platforms to enhance the learning experience and outcomes for my students. I also collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. Previously, I worked as an IB Business Management Teacher, where I prepared students for the rigorous international examinations and developed their global perspectives. Additionally, I have a background in the insurance industry, where I honed my problem solving, customer service, and new business development skills as a service representative and sales agent. I hold a Master of Science in Educational/Instructional Technology from Walden University, a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Instructional Design and Technology from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from South Carolina State University. I am committed to lifelong learning and professional development, and I have earned multiple certifications in e-learning and instructional design. I am excited to join a team that shares my vision of transforming education and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
