About
If you had asked me as a kid what I wanted to be when I grew up, I probably would
have said something like an inventor, a teacher, or maybe a guy who builds rockets. I
didn’t know it then, but I was already drawn to what I now do every day: helping people
imagine what’s possible through technology, and then making it real.
Over the years, my career has grown from hands-on tech support and classroom
integration to strategic leadership as a Director of Technology at K–12 schools. I've had
the privilege of sitting at the leadership table, guiding big-picture decisions that shape
how schools operate and how students learn. Whether I’m designing long-range
infrastructure plans or supporting teachers with emerging tools, I work to make
technology feel less like a system to manage and more like a bridge to something
better.
My journey has also taken me across the world, three years teaching in Vietnam gave
me a deep appreciation for cultural adaptability, student voice, and the universal
language of learning. Those years taught me how to lead with empathy, communicate
across boundaries, and create meaningful connections in unfamiliar spaces, skills that
continue to inform my work today.
What keeps me motivated isn’t just the technology, it’s the people. I love designing
systems that work not just on paper, but in real life, for real educators and kids. I believe
in listening first, solving creatively, and staying calm when nothing is working and the
Wi-Fi’s down. I’ve learned that sometimes the best kind of leadership looks like being
the first one to roll up your sleeves and the last one to leave the room.
I’m proud of what I’ve done so far, but even more excited about what’s next. Whether
I’m leading a team, launching a new initiative, or stepping into a classroom, my goal
remains the same: to use technology as a tool for connection, creativity, and change.
