About
With a background in engineering, business, and experience at a seed-to-Series A startup, I’ve spent the last five years at Microsoft honing my product skills and leading initiatives from 0 to 1. As a founding product manager, I built and led a team that delivered an IoT platform that powers over 100 campuses worldwide and launched a new external product (Microsoft Places). I’m currently driving the future of our AI-powered connected buildings. I believe my strengths lie in transforming ambiguity into execution, working with high empathy across a complex network of teams, and learning fast. Now I want to do it again on something bigger, faster, and make an impact on something close to my heart.
I’m actively searching for my next role at a growth stage edtech company to merge my skills in product with my passion: empowering people to reach their maximum potential. I’m particularly excited by technology’s ability to scale personalized education for better outcomes and to make teachers’ lives easier.
Personally, I have always believed that education is the primary vehicle for economic mobility. I love kids, and I've volunteered with students and teachers as a virtual middle school math tutor for the past 5 years. I've felt firsthand the challenges in implementing virtual education in these after school programs and have begun to empathize with how hard it is for teachers to focus on individuals and how gaps in fundamentals only continue to compound. I also love volunteering at a local youth center with kids ages 5-15, helping them with their homework and developing social skills through games and activities. Guiding and mentoring these kids has been a really rewarding endeavor that has opened my eyes to the aspects of education that are not found in a textbook or homework assignment.
Professionally, I'm chasing after the pace and responsibility that comes with working at a startup. I've led the product lifecycle from ideation to post-launch, but I also want to expand my scope to more strategic ownership and contribute to things like marketing, sales, and financial decisions. I want to go back to moving fast and wearing multiple hats.
