About
I am a U.S. Navy veteran, CTE-certified educator, and experienced technical professional with a diverse background in manufacturing, aerospace, business operations, and digital media. Over the past 20 years, I have built a career grounded in hands-on leadership, systems thinking, and workforce development—skills I now bring into the classroom and community.
During my time in the military, I advanced from avionics technician to operations supervisor, leading teams in high-stakes environments, managing maintenance schedules, and training personnel in electronic systems and inspection protocols. Following my service, I worked in the aerospace sector, including roles at Boeing’s Dreamlifter program and as Repair Station Manager at Crane Aerospace & Electronics. There, I implemented lean manufacturing strategies, oversaw FAA-regulated repairs, and coached technicians in quality-driven production.
In parallel, I founded Unreal Engineering LLC, where I design and build modular soundproof booths using CAD, prototyping, and small-scale fabrication. My business combines technical innovation, branding, and customer-focused operations—giving me firsthand experience in entrepreneurship and product development.
Outside of industry, I serve as a CTE teacher at Stanwood High School, teaching engineering, computer applications, business, and marketing. I also lead the freshman football team, emphasizing character, accountability, and leadership. At Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, I manage all AV and livestream production, integrating graphic design, sound engineering, and media editing for community events. I am passionate about empowering students through hands-on, inclusive learning environments that reflect real-world tools, challenges, and opportunities.
My qualifications include an MBA, a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Science, and multiple technical certifications in electronics, repair, and OSHA safety. I am committed to building bridges between education and industry—and helping students find purpose, direction, and success in technical careers.
