About
I am a current junior at the University of Michigan pursuing a double major in Statistics and Sociology with an interest in Education Research and Advancement work. I work as a Peer Facilitator for the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program in which I lead a seminar of first and second year students to guide them in finding research and mentoring them throughout the process.
I am a Co-President of She's The First on campus, which is a branch of the national non-profit organization that helps support female advancement all over the world through education, fundraising, and advocacy. I am also the Vice President of Memory Project at UM, which is our branch of the national non-profit organization in which art students make portraits for children in underserved and underprivileged areas around the world. Through art, we hope to foster multi-cultural connection.
Lastly, I'm an undergraduate research assistant for the Education Policy Initiative at the UM Ford School of Public Policy, and am assisting in the collection of course catalogs from universities in Massachusetts to help an overarching investigation into the curriculum at universities in this region. I have a deep-rooted passion for advocacy and justice and hope to continue my pursuit of this in the future through advancing educational opportunities.
