About Us
Founded in 1997, Keck Graduate Institute was the first higher education institution in the United States dedicated exclusively to education and research related to the applied life sciences. Now, KGI offers innovative graduate-level degrees and certificates in bioscience, healthcare, and life science research. Through rigorous coursework, hands-on experiences, team projects, and more, KGI graduates emerge as industry-ready professionals with practical skills, strategic acumen, diverse perspectives, a collaborative spirit, and global influence that lead to better patient care and solve real-world problems.
As a member of The Claremont Colleges, KGI employs an entrepreneurial approach and industry connections that provide pathways for students to become leaders in healthcare, biotechnology, and applied life sciences. KGI consists of four schools: Henry E. Riggs School of Applied Life Sciences, the School of Pharmacy, and the School of Health Sciences.
