The Facility Technician performs maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and systems at Canadian Solar's manufacturing facility to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdowns. This role is critical to maintaining safe, efficient operations at a leading global solar manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities: Work independently on general building maintenance including flooring, lighting, plumbing, carpentry, and painting, while scheduling and monitoring preventative maintenance services for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other systems. Collaborate with departments on cost reduction projects and participate in safety and ISO 9001 compliance activities.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in general facilities maintenance, HVAC systems, plumbing, carpentry, and equipment repair, combined with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications: 3–5 years of experience in general facilities maintenance with completion of a Building Maintenance Technology diploma/certificate or comparable program preferred; HVAC certification is preferred. Ability to work 12-hour day or night shifts required.

Compensation: $28K–$38K/yr (estimated)
