Summary
The Data Visualization and Analytics Specialist designs and maintains interactive dashboards and reporting tools to transform Achieving the Dream's data systems into a modern, automated, self-service analytics environment. This role bridges data infrastructure with programmatic reporting needs across the organization while advancing AI and machine learning applications.
Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI, converting static reports and Excel files into dynamic visualizations. Automate manual data processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support the development of ATD's data warehouse or data lakehouse.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI, strong programming skills in SQL or Python, and knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts. Experience with data infrastructure, automation, and technical communication across departments.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 3-5 years of experience in data visualization or analytics engineering; Master's degree is favored. Experience transforming data processes and working with data warehousing concepts is preferred.
Location: Silver Spring, Maryland
Compensation: $100K–$110K/yr
