Security Specialist I leads comprehensive internal and external investigations, threat assessments, and risk mitigation for corporate assets, intellectual property, and personnel at Canadian Solar's Jeffersonville manufacturing facility. This role actively detects, analyzes, and resolves security breaches and policy violations through digital forensics, interviews, and strategic audits.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct complex investigations into theft, fraud, workplace violence, and unauthorized access; leverage CCTV, card access logs, and network audits to reconstruct incident timelines; execute inventory audits to identify equipment shrinkage; perform professional witness interviews; serve as primary contact with law enforcement; and conduct security audits to identify facility vulnerabilities.

Skills & Tools: Proficiency with access control systems, CCTV monitoring, and incident management platforms; strong investigative and analytical capabilities; professional communication and interview skills; knowledge of legal standards and chain of custody procedures; familiarity with OSHA requirements and ISO security compliance desirable.

Qualifications: High school diploma required; experience in security investigations, loss prevention, or related field preferred; training in OSHA requirements or specialized site security desirable; ISO compliance knowledge a plus.

Location: In-Person - Jeffersonville, IN

Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $45,000 – $62,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.
