Technical Lead – Java Full Stack role responsible for leading a team in designing and maintaining scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend technologies. The position involves mentoring developers, ensuring code quality, and collaborating with client architects to deliver high-impact solutions in the education technology space.
Key Responsibilities: Architect and oversee full-stack development projects, mentor development teams on best practices, ensure code quality and adherence to processes, analyze system requirements and propose architectural improvements, and drive delivery quality while maintaining direct collaboration with client solution architects.
Skills & Tools: Strong expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot, RESTful services, and relational databases; proficiency in Angular or React with modern testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library); excellent problem-solving abilities, self-driven mentality, strong communication skills, and experience with AWS and messaging system integrations.
Qualifications: 8+ years of real-time project experience with proven expertise in maintenance projects and full-stack development. Demonstrated ability to understand system architecture, mentor teams, and propose process improvements.
Location: In-Person - Pune, India
Compensation: ₹1.8M–₹3.2M/yr (estimated)
Job Description

Technical Skills – MUST HAVE
Backend: (Should be strong in one of the below technologies and can pick up other technology)
· Java8, SpringBoot, RESTful Services, Messaging system integrations, Mockito for unit testing
Frontend:
- Angular
Or
- ReactJS, Redux or React Context
- React Testing library / JEST for unit testing
Database:
· MySQL or any relational database
Technical Skills – NICE TO HAVE
AWS
PHP, Laravel, PHPUnit
Experience: 8+ years
Expectation:
· Candidate should have 8+ years of real-time project experience
· Should have good experience in maintenance projects
· Should be a tenacious problem-solver, who is self-driven and has a can-do mentality
· Should work and collaborate directly with Client Solution Architects
· Should understand the architecture, perform detailed analysis and mentor the team
· Ensures necessary tools and processes are implemented and adhered by the developers to build a clean and maintainable code
· Self-initiated to propose and take up process and delivery improvement activities
· Should be able to suggest architectural improvements to the Architects
· Responsible for the team’s overall delivery quality and commitment
· Good in communication
