Summary

Lead the maintenance and oversight of the HRPP Toolkit as a coordinator, serving as the primary liaison between Huron's IRB Services Team and HRS development teams. Ensure regulatory compliance, manage toolkit updates, and support the IRB professional community.

Key Responsibilities: Manage HRPP Toolkit updates by monitoring regulatory changes, soliciting community feedback, and coordinating releases. Triage IRB-related questions, facilitate community meetings, and serve as liaison to HRS IRB team for toolkit change communication.
Skills & Tools: Expertise in IRB software, HRS IRB platform, and software development processes; advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio). Strong analytical, critical thinking, and cross-functional communication abilities with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of human research protections/IRB experience and minimum 2 years direct experience with Huron HRPP Toolkit. Certified IRB Professional (CIP) credential preferred.
Location: Remote, United States (Chicago-based company)
Compensation: $65,000 – $100,000/year base salary; $72,800 – $118,000/year inclusive of annual incentive compensation

Position Summary

As the HRPP Toolkit Project Coordinator, you will coordinate and lead the maintenance of the HRPP Toolkit. In addition, you will serve as the main liaison between the IRB Services Team and Huron IRB Huron Research Suite (HRS) Team(s). Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: managing Toolkit changes and releases, overseeing the Toolkit community and subscriptions, providing subject matter expertise (SME) and coordinating SME feedback for HRS IRB and HRS IRB Exchange.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

Manage HRPP Toolkit updates through the following: 

  • Monitor environment for regulatory agency updates and released guidance
  • Solicit and monitor feedback from the Toolkit community 
  • Update Toolkit customization tools based on revisions as needed
  • Manage the Toolkit update process and communication 
  • Facilitate the Toolkit Community meetings
  • Triage IRB/Toolkit questions and queries related to HRS IRB
  • Serve as a liaison to the HRS IRB team to communicate Toolkit changes and attend HRS IRB Community calls

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor's Degree. 

• 5+ years of human research protections/IRB experience. 

Must have at least 2 years of direct experience working with the Huron HRPP Toolkit in an implementation or support role. 

• Certified IRB Professional (CIP) preferred. 

• Working knowledge of IRB software and software development. Knowledge of HRS IRB preferred. 

• Highly skilled in using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Windows. 

• Ability to demonstrate critical, analytical thinking in all aspects of the job, both technical and non-technical. 

• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams. 

• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences (technical and non-technical, staff and managerial), and in a wide range of settings (e.g., one-on-one, small group, in person, conference calls and via email). 

The estimated base salary range for this job is $65,000 - $100,000.  The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy.  Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $72,800 - $118,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
