Role Snapshot
The Exploratorium is seeking an On-Call Administrative Assistant to provide essential clerical and administrative support to the Teaching & Learning Department, facilitating innovative educational experiences for K-12 teachers and leaders.
Key Responsibilities: Provide general clerical support, manage invoices and reimbursements, maintain participant databases, assist with contract administration, and support the organization and filing of program materials and departmental reports.
Skills & Tools: Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills; proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel); ability to maintain confidentiality and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; two years of administrative experience preferred; demonstrated ability to set up and maintain administrative systems; excellent accuracy in data input and detail-oriented work.
Location: San Francisco, California
Compensation: $30/hr
