Huron is seeking a Higher Education-Strategy and Operations Consulting Associate to drive growth and enhance performance for education organizations. This role involves collaborating with clients to implement transformative change and improve student outcomes.
Responsibilities: Lead project work streams, implement comprehensive solutions using Huron tools, and manage relationships with client staff and leadership while mentoring junior team members.
Skills: Experience in consulting or higher education, strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and financial modeling expertise are required.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 2-3 years of relevant experience are required; prior consulting experience is preferred.
Location: The position is based in Chicago, Illinois but offers flexible location options.
Compensation: $100000 - $140000 / Annually

Required:
- Current U.S. work authorization required
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in consulting, Higher Education, or relevant work experience
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Ability to travel on a 50% basis annually, work extended hours as necessary
Preferred Requirements:
- Advanced experience with analytical tools such as Excel
- Strong background in quantitative reasoning & analytics
- Financial modeling experience
- Prior Consulting experience is highly desired
The estimated base salary range for this job is $100,000 - $140,000. (Pease note that this range is reflective of senior level associate as well; and that pay discussions will be commensurate with experience). The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $112,000 - $165,200. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
